Hey there! Let me tell you a story about a day that we will always cherish - January 24, 2009. This day was special because we got to witness two amazing people tie the knot on their wedding day. We had an early afternoon schedule, so we made sure to arrive ahead of time to set up the sound system at the reception area.
The wedding venue, D'Club at Taal Silangan, was a cozy clubhouse with a vast outdoor area filled with newly planted yellow plants. The strong breeze gave us a hint of an impending storm, but the sun was scorching hot.
We made our way to the chapel on the hill where the ceremony was set to take place around 3:00 pm. As we stepped inside, we felt a different vibe that transported us to Jerusalem. The chapel was not grand in size, but it had a certain charm that was hard to explain. We were the first ones to arrive, so we took advantage of the silence to set up the keyboard and test the sound system. The natural acoustics of the chapel were amazing, and we knew that we didn't need to put on a concert to offer our music in reverence.
The ceremony started a little past 4 in the afternoon and lasted until after five. Time didn't matter to us because we were there to share at the moment. Despite feeling tired from the long trip, we gave our best performance. The Tagaytay region was a visual treat, and we couldn't help but admire the beautiful surroundings.
Everyone present, no matter how simple their attire, was dressed appropriately for the occasion. The atmosphere was solemn, and the guests maintained a respectful silence throughout the ceremony. The chapel on the hill had a certain enchantment that was hard to put into words. Each of my three visits has given me a unique memory that I will always cherish. Imagine a chapel perched on a hill with a breathtaking view of mountains, trees, and plants, and you'll know exactly what I mean.
